Chef Dean, who hails from the small fishing town of Arbroath, has spent his lifetime exploring his passion for cookery, beginning his career at just 15 years old. After dedicating his early years to traveling over 40 countries in search of different ingredients and cooking styles, Dean refined his skills in numerous Michelin starred restaurants, including the renowned seafood establishment, The Seafood Restaurant by Rick Stein.
Following a spectacular stint as a finalist on Masterchef : The Professionals in 2018, Dean returned home to Scotland to create HAAR. HAAR focuses on letting the food speak for itself, utilising the best British produce with global influences and global cooking techniques to create a truly unique dining experience.
